Central Oregon PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. Parents, Families and Friends of lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

From news and culture to nightlife and opinion, PQ highlights underrepresented voices in both its Oregon and SW Washington-focused print publication, PQ Monthly, and on its blog featuring writers from across the United States and the world, PQ Republic.
Pride Foundation inspires a culture of generosity that connects and strengthens Northwest organizations, leaders, and students who are creating LGBTQ equality. Equity Foundation was a grant-making, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to funding programs and organizations that reach out to LGBTQ youth, advocate for human rights, provide HIV/AIDS housing, create art as a tool for social change and work to advance marriage equality in our community. They have now merged with the Pride Foundation.x
